Christmas Caribbean Cruise 2000
Day 2: Christmas at Sea

On the Lido Deck

Christmas was spent at sea, sailing around the south end of Cuba. Warm sun that day brought many people out on deck to catch some rays.

Lower Promenade Deck

A view from the Lower Promenade Deck, starboard side looking aft. This was our lifeboat station (Number 1).

The Crow's Nest

Our favorite place aboard ship, the Crow's Nest, on the top deck forward with wraparound windows. We usually met here for cocktails before heading down to dinner.
On the Sports Deck

More sunbathers, these on the Sports Deck overlooking the Lido deck.

Jill on Deck

Jill on deck. The open-air deck, the Lower Promenade, is actually closer to the water than the open deck of the smaller Nieuw Amsterdam

Anniversary

Mom and Dad celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary during the cruise, although the cake was a surprise.
